Faces Aesthetics is a physician-led Botox and dermal filler clinic in Alliston, Ontario, run by Dr. Fatima Mahdi. I built the website and the system around it: the part that gets the clinic found and turns a visitor into a booked consultation.

The problem

A new clinic has two jobs online: be found by people searching locally, and convince them to book. A pretty website does neither on its own. It needs to load fast, say the right things, prove the practitioner is real and credentialed, and make booking the obvious next step. It also needs to be measurable, so spend on ads or SEO can be judged against actual bookings.

What I built

  • The site. A static Astro build (Tailwind, self-hosted fonts, Cloudflare Pages) that is fast on a phone, where most of this traffic lands.
  • Booking-first. The primary call to action is “Book a Consultation” through an embedded scheduler. Phone is the secondary path. Both are tracked.
  • Measurement. GA4 through GTM, with a booking counted as the primary conversion and phone taps as the secondary one, so Google Ads can optimize toward real consultations.
  • Built to be found. Medical structured data (MedicalBusiness, Physician, MedicalProcedure, FAQ), clean canonical URLs, and build-time social images.
  • A launch kit, not just a site. Page copy, six cornerstone blog posts, a Google Business Profile description, posts and seed Q&As, review-request and response templates, and a citations tracker, ordered into a week-by-week launch plan.

The outcome

The clinic launched with a booking funnel that can actually be measured and a local-SEO foundation built to rank, instead of a brochure site that looks fine and does nothing. The website and the marketing around it were treated as one system from day one.
